Our Leadership

Mohammad Nadir Raza

Managing Director

Nadir leads the Centre for Muslims in Britain’s strategy, research agenda, policy engagement and organisational development.

He is a strategy and public policy professional with 10+ years’ experience advising national and local governments, public sector organisations and third-sector institutions across the UK and Middle East. Having worked at PwC and KPMG, his professional expertise spans policy formulation, strategy development, operating model design, organisational transformation and operations improvement, with experience leading complex programmes addressing public policy and institutional challenges.

Alongside his professional career, Nadir is a qualified Islamic scholar and has served as an Imam and religious counsellor in London and North-West England. He regularly delivers lectures and educational programmes across the country, providing him with first-hand insight into the diversity of Britain’s Muslim communities, the institutions that serve them and the social, civic and policy issues they face.

This combination of policy expertise, institutional advisory experience and sustained community engagement informs his work at the Centre, particularly its focus on translating evidence and community insight into practical policy solutions and strengthening the capabilities of British Muslim institutions.
